Description

Cunning Football is an interesting take on computerized football. (This is football of the American type, not what most people call football and Americans call soccer.) At first it seems like a pure simulation, with text menu and simple alphabetic representations of on-field players, where you choose different plays you want your team to take which differ depending if you're on offense or defense. But then you actually take control of one of your players and move them around (or on offense, throw the ball) turning it into an action game. It plays decently, with control options available for keyboard, mouse, or joystick. (Unfortunately the game doesn't detect your mouse in DOSBox if you lock it after starting the game, so you'll need to remember to lock it before starting if you play locally, and if you're playing online you'll need to use keyboard or joystick.)
